Styled after the drafting brushes found on architects’ desks, this Horse Hair Brush is inspired by the tool that removes eraser shavings after hours of drawing work.

Horse hair sweeps away fine particles of all kinds. Use it on the kitchen countertop, on your workbench, or for the dust on furniture and wainscoting. The handles are finished with a low V.O.C. polyurethane.

My father is an architect, so I grew up around these tools and the craft that they support. Memories from childhood inspire this updated design.

This handmade walnut broom set elevates the everyday task of cleaning to a new level. Walnut is a sturdy dark hardwood, with grain that varies from piece to piece. Each broom is wrapped with broom corn, a material farmed traditionally and exclusively for broom production. The handles are finished with a natural beeswax/linseed oil blend that protects and highlights their complex tones. The octagonal handle brings ergonomics craft and intention to a quotidian tool.

I designed these brooms with both beauty and functionality in mind, because we should all be able to value the small moments in life. The Large Broom measures approx. 57 inches, the Kids/Lobby broom comes in at 38 inches and the whisk is approx. 12 inches. All products are complete with leather ties for hanging and storage.

Not only will it help you tidy up, but you can put this broom set on display before your guests arrive.

The Dustpan Block Set is a self-contained object meant to keep smaller workspaces clean. Its handles are sealed with a low V.O.C. polyurethane. The finish makes for sturdy, long-lasting tools and can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Hand brooms are stuffed with a natural Tampico fiber.

Made of steel architectural extrusions, these non-traditional bookends bring the fundamentals of building inside your home. Steel extrusions are beams that typically frame large structures, and in the non-industrial setting they are masked with drywall and paint.

Instead of covering them up, I want to appreciate the forms: angle iron, square tubing, rectangular tubing, channel and I-beam. These simple, linear shapes are whimsical but strong, reminiscent of grade-school letters and building blocks.

Use the bookends to organize and separate items on a shelf, or to hold them up. They also work splendidly as doorstops and art objects. Each form is powder coated in a clean, stand-out color and lined with a cork pad to prevent slipping. Mix and match as desired to add your personal touch.
