Doug Fir Brushes

from 28.00

SHIPPING COSTS INCLUDED IN PRICE.

These Doug Fir Brushes are both sculptural and functional. Their sturdy broom corn bristles and small sizes help you clean off tabletops, desks, keyboards and small corners. Keep them on your windowsill, countertop or shelf.

Old-growth fir is one of my favorite woods because of its orange-pink tones and defined lines. The thin marks in the grain show that it’s a slow-growing tree: the lines are close together and each line marks a year of existence.

I source my Vertical Grain Fir from scrap whenever possible, to give old materials a second chance. Each piece is unique, with variations on grain orientation, size, shape and bristle thickness. You could say that each brush gets its own haircut!

Please inquire about local pick up or delivery.
